  • Abstract:
This paper empirically examines the sustainable growth of Singapore property investment and development companies and the financial strategies employed by these firms in achieving financial stability and sustaining growth. It finds that the actual growth rates of many property firms are higher than their sustainable growth rates. These firms tend to rely on increasing financial leverage to sustain their high growth. However, growth does not have a clear impact on the share price performance of the companies.
